Timothy Saccentiは、国際的に活躍するニューヨーク在住のディレクター / フォトグラファー。彼のビジュアルは、ユーモアを交えて、現実と空想にある不協和音的な世界を見事に描き、緊張感を喚起させる。独特の色彩の強さやライティングなど、優れたアートディレクションで、独自の世界を創りだし、最近ではそのスタイルは「恐怖感のあるバロックのフューチャーリズム」と言われている。Battles、Animal Collective、Jamie Lidell、Peaches、Erykah Badu、Tricky、Pharrell、Flying Lotusなどのミュージックビデオやアーティスト写真を手掛けて、一躍時の人に。最近では、国際映画祭などにも作品を出品している。 2008年、「Board Magazine」の「注目すべきディレクター」の一人に選ばれる。2009年には、DIESEL DENIM GALLERY AOYAMAにて世界初の個展を開催。
Timothy Saccenti is a director and photographer living in New York City and working worldwide. His visuals evoke tension by striking a discord between the otherworldly and the familiar while mixing in a dose of humor. Using a palette of exquisite art direction, intense color, and palatial lighting, he paints his subjects as archetypes in their own worlds in a style described recently as “baroque futurism, with a precise-horror attitude”. His recent promos have made waves in the music video world for respected artists including Battles, Animal Collective, and Jamie Lidell, earning himaccolades from many outlets such as Specialten, Fader, Creative Review, Videostatic, and Pitchfork Media, as well as entry into multiple festivals throughout the world, including the BUG in London, the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Los Angles Film Festival. Timothy was included in Boards Magazine's 'Directors to Watch' feature in 2008. His recent videos are School of Seven Bells and Chairlift. In 2009, his solo exhibition at DIESEL DENIM GALLERY AOYAMA was held.
